New business owners Chris Phillips and Chris Croasdale of Seacoast Orthotics & Prosthetics came to us as a start-up looking to invest in marketing strategy. They had broken off from another company and found themselves in the position of acquiring new patients from scratch, believing in the power of marketing but not quite knowing where to start. Their previous company’s logo was generic and didn’t embody who they were. They needed a refresh. Lucky for us, they had met our owner Darci at a strategic marketing workshop and knew where to turn.
Once we settled on a positioning statement, we dove deep into logo and web design, incorporating video on their website that would let their audience get to know Chris and Chris, and hear them speak passionately about what they do. We honed in on SEO tactics to drive potential clients to their new site, lifeismoving.net. A third major outreach initiative was a series of direct mail campaigns, which targeted both potential clients and local doctors that would refer patients to the practice.
Knowing that this was a niche market, we wanted Seacoast Orthotics & Prosthetics to embody who these business owners were not only as healthcare providers, but also as people. One of them, Chris Phillips, happened to be a prosthetic wearer himself, and we realized the importance of capturing the passion, commitment and sincerity that both he and his colleague possessed for their trade. As an emotionally moving profession, as well as one that literally helps patients get their bodies moving again, we settled on the concept of movement, and wove that into their branding. The new tagline? Life is Moving.
Seacoast Orthotics & Prosthetics has grown leaps and bounds since we began working with them. What once was a company with no client base became a thriving orthotics and prosthetics practice with a people-centric approach. Today, they rank number one for each keyword we targeted on search engines – a true SEO success.
