Web Development Internship
DARCI Creative is seeking an intern who is interested in learning about website development, specifically for WordPress websites. This internship will provide hands-on experience building and maintaining WordPress websites, including coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP), understanding web hosting, domains, and DNS setup, and more.
By the end of the internship, you will have built a 3-page WordPress website to include in your portfolio.
What this internship includes:
- Shadowing our Web Developer on current web projects
- Attending internal and external meetings with staff and clients
- Assist with ongoing website maintenance
- Hold informational 1-1s with our web designer and search manager to understand how design and optimization impact development
- Real-world experience working on live websites and client-facing projects
- Completion of your own 3-page WordPress website
- Attend weekly check-ins with the Web Developer
Requirements
- Student at an accredited college or university
- Willingness to learn and experiment
- Personal computer

- 10-week internship between June 1 – August 7, 2026
- 15-20 hours per week
- $15 / hour
