Search Marketing Specialist (Part-Time)
The Search Marketing Specialist (part-time) is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and making recommendations regarding the search engine optimization (SEO) and promotion of various client and DARCI websites (B2B and B2C). This role will work closely with the account management, design, and website development teams to drive strategic insights, using data and analytics, and translating those findings into actionable insights and recommendations for clients and the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and report on ongoing SEO strategies:
- Optimize web copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
- Develop and implement link building strategy
- Perform technical website audits for clients
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed websites
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Create, update and oversee local SEO audits and platforms, including Google Business Listings for clients
- Provide monthly reports to clients, and explain data and updates
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization
- Proven SEO experience and copy writing / copy optimization experience
- Strong writing skills required, with experience writing search-optimized content
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- Experience working with software and tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, Moz, Looker Studio (Google Data Studio), Google Workspace, and ideally, Microsoft Teams
- Experience in digital marketing in both B2B and B2C environments preferred
Details:
- Part-Time, 15-20+ hours per week
- $20-23+ per hour, based on experience
- Remote or In-Office available
- Weekly pay on Fridays
